The Joint University Council (JUC) and its Public Administration Committee (PAC) is a learned society which dates back to 1918. The JUC was launched at the London School of Economics where esteemed scholars and influential policy activists such as Professors E.J. Urwick and Sidney Webb aimed to establish an institution for coordinating and developing social study.
